Marbles
How to play 1. Draw a circle 10 feet in diameter. 2. Place 13 marbles in the center of the circle in the shape of a cross. 3. The winner is the player who first shoots seven marbles out of the ring. Hopscotch
How to play 1. Using chalk, draw nine squares like the hopscotch grid at left. The squares should be 8 to 12 inches. 2. Each player places a marker in the first square (1). The first player skips over the first square and hops on one foot into square 2, then 3 and so on. The player must step into squares 4 and 5 at the same time; the same goes for squares 7 and 8. After hopping into square nine, the player jumps outside the grid, turns around on one foot and returns in reverse order to square 2. Continue by balancing on one foot and bending foward to collect the marker, then jump out of the hopscotch grid. 3. The game continues until a marker has advanced one space each turn, reaching square 9 and returning to the first square and jumping out. The first player to complete the whole game after everyone has had a turn is the winner. 4. Player's turn ends if
Jacks
How to play
1. Player tosses jacks into the air, letting them fall to the floor. 2. On the first round, toss ball into air, let bounce, then pick up one jack. Continue until all the jacks have been picked up. 3. Continue in same manner, picking up two jacks at a time, then three and so on up to 10 jacks. 4. Player's turn ends if
Penny Pitch
How to play
2. Each player takes a turn lining up just behind the line in either a standing or kneeling position. Toss a penny against the wall. Take note of where the penny lands. 3. After each player has tossed a coin against the wall, survey to see who landed penny closest to the wall. The person landing closest to the wall gets to pick up all of the pennies tossed and keep them. 4. The player to win the most pennies is the winner. |
